Kathryn Niederer, PA-C (Certified Physician Assistant), attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she received a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology. She returned to Emory University where she attended the Physician Assistant Program and received a Master of Medical Science in 2003. During her training, she applied and was accepted to do her surgical rotation at Yale University and an oncology rotation at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was the recipient of the Heritage Award.

Prior to relocating to Richmond and joining the Richmond Vein Center, she worked as a Hospitalist PA and has 10 years of internal medicine experience at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, GA, Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA and Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City.

Kathryn is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a certified registered phlebology sonographer.
