Dr. Charles F. Gould, II, obtained his medical degree from Downstate Medical Center-State University of New York.  He received his general surgery training at San Francisco General and Kaiser Hospitals in San Francisco and went on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California.

He has served as Chairman of Department of Surgery at Health South Medical Center from 1996-2000.  He currently is Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory at Henrico Doctors Hospital-Parham Campus where he has served since 2001.

His interest in vascular surgery is currently devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders of the lower extremities, which include leg pain, stasis ulcers, varicose veins and spider veins and as of June 2011, a diplomate of The American Board of Phlebology.

Dr. Gould has been in private practice in the Richmond area since 1990.  Prior to moving to Richmond, Dr. Gould served as Clinical Instructor of Surgery at University of California, San Francisco from 1985-1990.  He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, American College of Phlebology, Richmond Medical Society of Virginia.
